Dr. Sara Gasaway, known affectionately as Dr. Sara to her patients, was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction in Human Biology at the University of Kansas and was a member in the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa academic society.

Inspired by her sister, Dr. Vanessa Phye and brother-in-law Dr. Bryant Phye, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry. Dr. Sara earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery, D.D.S. degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2010 and joined the practice the same year.

She is a member in the American Dental Association and the Kansas Dental Association, is certified in the delivery of Invisalign® clear aligners, CEREC® same-day crowns, and is experienced in all aspects of general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Sara is passionate about providing dental care that improves her patients’ quality of life and overall health. Utilizing CEREC® Primescan® intraoral scanner, Dr. Sara can create same-day transformations rather than waiting weeks on traditional dental crowns.

Dr. Sara loves the relationships formed with her patients and their families. She hopes to positively impact people’s lives through dental care and through genuine compassion and attention.

Dr. Sara resides in Lenexa, Kansas with her husband Brandon, and their two daughters. She loves watching her girls participate in all types of sports, including soccer, volleyball, basketball, and softball. Dr. Sara is an avid KU and Kansas City Chiefs fan and loves attending and cheering her teams to victory.
